       Sophie Wu joined Alibaba in 2000 and has at different roles in Alibaba business-to-business (B2B) business units. She has been appointed as President of Alibaba B2B business group at 2014, in charge of both alibaba.com & 1688.com, and also leads the new stretagic initiative Alibaba Rural Project.

       Prior to her current role, Sophie worked as President of Alibaba international business unit from 2012 to 2014. She has several manager roles in different areas from 2000 to 2012, including the General Manager in regional sales team, Vice President of China Gold Supplier, Vice President of Trust Pass team, Vice president of Supplier Service team, and General Manager of international operations.

       Sophie graduates from Zhejiang University and received her bachelor degree in international trading. After that Sophie got her EMBA from UIBE.
